Positions are full time with permanent contracts. You will be part of our highly skilled team creating for example state-of-the-art web apps. Multiple technologies are used and can be learned, but ideally you already have experience on J2EE, JavaScript and Java frameworks. Most of our work is related to creation of new market changing services or larger systems which demand great technical competencies. There is good project variety and fast-phased sprints, so you will not be stuck with same tasks and project for years on end.
Most essential is that you are a quick learner and willing to develop your programming skills. Previous work experience is desirable, but we are equally interested if you have extensive free time project experience. If not graduated, you should have relevant BSc or MSc degree on the way.

The digital services and top-notch mobile applications we develop must feature brilliant user interfaces. Therefore, our various projects at Tampere require user experience design in the form of creating user interface concepts, giving usability consultancy, doing traditional graphics design of user interface elements and so on.
We are now looking for a person whose focus is clearly on this user experience field and who is able to take a lead on creating a new service for today’s mobile platforms. Skills on usability consultancy are not enough – You often need to be a creative leader for creating user interfaces of new services starting with empty table. You need to work the design starting from high-level sketches down to pixel-precise graphical assets yourself and ensure it results into a neat user experience with the highly competent software developers working in the same service creation team with you.
Your expertise on asking the right questions from our customers for getting necessary requirements for the design is also highly valued.
This position is necessarily not a full-time position. Applications from part-timers are also welcomed.
REQUIREMENTS:
- impressive design portfolio
- wide skill set, ability to design user interfaces and application concepts on high-level plus pixel level skills
- experience on design for mobile platforms

Web- and other lightweight technologies are nowadays more and more used also in mobile applications and services. Due to this growing trend, we are now looking for a web guru to strengthen our teams in Tampere and Helsinki in this technology area.
We are looking both experienced professionals and promising talent, most importantly we expect you to be a multitalented person with wide competencies and interests. In practice it means that in addition to mastering the typical web frontend technologies, your competencies should cover either backend development skills and / or possibly UI design skills (layout design, graphics design).
REQUIREMENTS:
- at least a couple of years work experience in mobile or web applications development
- completed or almost completed studies with strong focus in SW development
- solid expertise in web frontend implementation, HTML technology family + JavaScript
- strong personal motivation in software development and in learning new technologies

We are looking for young enthusiasts with couple of years work experience within software development and completed or nearly completed studies. Your number one expertise area should be either native development with C/C++ or mobile Java. Especially previous Symbian experience and knowledge of the Qt framework is highly valued in this position.
