As a Futurice Business / Growth Director for our London office, you will work in a multi-disciplinary team together with some of the UK’s most talented consultants in software engineering, design and business strategy. With your drive to build trusted customer relationships over the long-term, you’ll help create the conditions for them to deliver extraordinary results for our clients.

You’re passionate about doing sales work the right way - by leading and advising clients from the very first conversation and ensuring their problems are clearly defined before prescribing solutions. You know what it takes to effectively develop global accounts from modest beginnings to large-scale multi-years programmes that deliver impact across business units. You understand that the best form of business development is exceptional execution, and you look for ways to continually support and collaborate with project and client teams.

Sales at Futurice is not a separate function. It's an integral part of how we support our clients, meaning your responsibility extends from idea to service launch and everything in between.

This role consists of sales and account development work for existing and new clients as well as overseeing projects, taking ultimate responsibility for the health and wellbeing of entire customer accounts.

We’re looking for an accomplished business developer with a track record in winning and building impactful and trusted client relationships that deliver measurable results. Our culture is our lifeblood, so we’re also looking for someone who demonstrates empathy for others and an ability to actively listen and challenge when needed.

We expect you to understand the world of software and what it takes to build digital services for demanding clients.

Who we’re looking for:

  • Background: 8+ years of work experience in digital business development and/or sales
  • Strong competence and background in an area relevant to modern digital solutions: engineering, design, analytics, agile coaching or digital business design
  • Understanding of what it takes to build high performing digital services for demanding customers in different sectors
  • Experience in the entire consultancy lifecycle: prospecting, pitching and winning new clients and projects, writing proposals, contract negotiation, managing existing accounts, strategic account development for industry leading global clients
  • Experience in building a consultancy brand and reputation in a highly sophisticated, competitive and rapidly evolving market
  • Consultative mindset and a dedication to helping clients succeed in a digital world
  • Ability to take end-to-end responsibility
  • Dynamic - get s*it done - can-do attitude
