About the role
We’re looking for a Project Assistant to join our team at Futurice, on a fixed term contract until the end of the year. You’d be working with our collaborative, cross-functional product teams to deliver intuitive, impactful and accessible digital solutions. You will bring an eagerness to learn, roll up your sleeves and help teams deliver good work in whatever way is needed. You’ll have a chance to work in diverse teams and learn and develop a wide range of skills which may eventually lead to roles in Agile Delivery Management, Product Management or Strategy.

What you will be responsible for
- Assist in maintaining project plans, task lists, RAID logs, status reports etc..
- Schedule meetings, workshops, and team check-ins.
- Help prepare agendas and document meeting notes and action items.
- Support onboarding of new team members and manage shared documentation systems.
- Monitor timesheet submissions and basic reporting requirements.
- Share reminders and follow-ups to keep everyone aligned and aware of upcoming deadlines.
- Help ensure information flows smoothly between team members and stakeholders.
- Use tools like Jira, Trello, Confluence, or Google Workspace to maintain project boards and documents.
- Assist in creating and maintaining project dashboards or summaries.
- Learn about agile, waterfall, and hybrid delivery approaches by supporting experienced project managers.

What we can offer you
- Competitive salary (benchmarked externally and internally for salary fairness), our junior-level banding is £30,000-£40,000 (depending on experience)
- Company pension contribution of 6%

- 25 days of holidays + plus bank holidays and a day off for your birthday too. We offer a long service annual leave scheme of an additional day per year after three years’ unbroken service, up to a maximum of 30 days

We usually follow the following format for interviews, currently all held remotely:
- 30min video/telephone call with our People Director
- 1hr interview with 2 people, a project manager and one other practitioner
- 1hr interview with 2 directors
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000
